There are a few stupid things about scrambling:
1. The letters in a PDF does not resize/shuffle around horizontally for easy viewing, and you have to scroll up and down if the laptop screen is low resolution.
2. You have to shuffle through folders or pdf for the scramble you need.
3. You can't check the scramble halfway through to see if you got it right or not, which sucks for 5x5 because you need to do it correctly.
4. Sharing scrambles with scramblers is a pain and you need to shuffle emails, flash drives, and messages (THIS FEATURE NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO SECURITY LIABILITY)
SimpleViewer fixes all of those things!! (Except 4, because i don't want any controversy)
SimpleViewer is an easy online website that makes reading scrambles simple!! The scramble resizes to your browser, all scrambles are accessible in an easy dropdown menu, and it has a feature to check the scramble for accuracy at ANY point during the scrambling process!
Personally, this is SUPER USEFUL IN SQ-1, and medium useful in 5x5!!!!! Because in sq-1, if you lose your place, knowing what the cubeshape SHOULD be is helpful!
BIG Thanks to BLAKE THOMPSON for the momentum to take this project on, and I really hope organisers/delegates give this software a try!!!
