Humphrey Wittingtonsworth IV | Custom Boxes, Luminox Updates, and Life Advice @HumphreyWittingtonsworthIV | Uploaded April 2019 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
I can now produce custom boxes really fast. They are plastic and friction locked. The custom design is fully plastic and smooth with the box, while still being light.
There's still stuff I have to fix, because these were the first ones I made with this new technique, but it'll be good when we release it, I promise
Luminox is coming along, but I'm going to restrict some features because I don't want to sell people bad cubes.
There's still going to be lots of custom options such as
1. Ridges
2. Plastic base colour + plastic additives
3. Coating
4. Tile Colours
5. Magnet radius and Strength
6. Plastic Thickness/Weight
7. Honeycomb Textures and Tracks
8. EVEN MORE
Then, I want to release changelogs and model numbers, so people can get better cubes as they are created.
Currently I'm testing different plastics and playing with tiles. You can see the quality of the tiles in the video, and they are completely flush with the surface of the plastic, so they feel like a stickerless cube.
I have the ability to produce multiple cubes per day, and multiple boxes per hour, so hopefully to keep up with demand
Lastly, I talk about how computer science and chemistry has taught me that sciences in general co-mingle, and that learning multiple things is good for you. Then I finish off telling you about what Deep Learning/ Machine Learning has taught me
