[Simple] How to fold a Bridal Flower (Tulip) that spins on a stem!
This model was requested by a dear friend of mine, who was organizing a bridal shower for her friend and asked me if I knew of a good origami flower that the guests could fold and they could turn it into a bouquet for the bride. This is what I came up with. I designed it myself, but it's simple enough that I wouldn't be surprised if it has already been designed previously. If you know of this flower design please give me a link for where you've seen it so I can give proper credit for prior independent discovery.
This flower might not work to well in a bouquet because the flower is attached to the stem only by gravity, so if it is turned over or if there is a gust of wind the flower could fall off the stem, unless, of course, you attach it to the stem by some other means that I won't mention๐. But as is, the flower can spin on the stem or it can spin on a pencil. If folded using large enough paper, the flower could be worn as a hat.
This Origami Tulip Flower is rather easy to fold, so I think it would be a fun model to teach at a bridal shower or anywhere else where flowers are welcome!
