Kristine and I sat down in the studio a while back, and was waiting for Gina to send us some new lyrics. While we waited, I played a little snipped I had made last year and with some very old lyrics we made back in 2006, this song came to life.

The basic structure and recording took us about half a day to finish, and a few days' work of fine tuning the recorded vocals, adjusting the backing, adding some nice guitars from Håvard Caspersen. And the results hopefully speaks for itself. Enjoy! :)

keep them hidden well.
Make them flourish in your verbal garden.

Mystic stranger sweet seduce my open ears.

Bridge:
Let go off your mask.
Let them see your face.
Silver silent lovers’ language reveals itself.

Verse 3:
Use reflections of your feelings.
Build the letters’ sense.
See how easy verbal pictures coming through to you.

To all silver silent lovers: Language hides behind the shade.
Let your lips confess, it’s a metaphoric masquerade!
Souly flavoured, sweetly darling. All of the words that we played.
In the poem’s frame, we made the merry masquerade!

Verse 4:
Don’t spill out the words I’ve spoken,
keep them hidden well.
Make them flourish in your verbal garden.

Let my words undress your eyes.
I will show you in disquise.
Collect my purple poems too,
and drape them all around you!

Let my words undress your eyes.
I will show you in disguise.
Collect my purple poems too,
bedazzle all of you!

Chorus:
To all silver silent lovers: Language hides behind the shade.
Let your lips confess, it’s a metaphoric masquerade!
Souly flavoured, sweetly darling. All of the words that we played.
In the poem’s frame, we made the merry masquerade!
