Another early 1960s reissue from Walt Disney Educational Materials. The title card seen here was commonly used (without the rest of the opening titles) on TV and VHS releases in the 1980s, before a new transfer was made in about 1990 and it got its 1950s burlap titles back (since they were spliced onto the original negative). The closing title has never been altered, however, since it does not feature a distributor name. One might think that the title card is also the original one, but the typeface used is very clearly Antique Olive Nord, which was not introduced until the 1960s, so the design was probably made at the same time as the new The Ugly Duckling card (see my previous upload). Scanned from a 16mm Eastman LPP print from 1983.
