Judgment day at Lake View Hotel. Silent Hill 2 Remake finally puts James Sunderland in room 312 with the tape, the letter, and the truth he has been circling all game. I knew this story was going to hurt again, but Laura's letter, Mary's birthday reveal, the empty envelope, and that last walk through the hotel still found new ways to turn the knife. And yes, my theories went a little feral, but that's part of the magic here. Even when I'm wrong, the game keeps rewarding the reach and asking better questions. The ending we got left me weirdly at peace, like James could finally carry one of Mary's wishes forward instead of staying buried in the fog. I fell in love with this series last year and I truly think they smashed this remake out of Rosewater Park. It honored the original while still pulling in so many new players and I really hope Silent Hill 1 gets the same treatment one day since that one's my favorite. Thanks for watching and we're far from done with Silent Hill... after all, it always finds a way to summon me back 💛
