The mission went about as well as we all expected, but I'm at a loss for words for this description because it's a little hard to think with a massive knife in my back 🙂 Dishonored brought Corvo back to Dunwall Tower, the same place where Jessamine was murdered and everything fell apart, and somehow I thought this was going to be the big victory lap. We slipped in, dealt with Hiram Burrows, turned the Lord Regent's own confession against him, and exposed the plague-rat disaster for exactly what it was. For one beautiful second, it felt like Emily was safe, the Loyalists had won, and maybe we were finally going home. Then Havelock, Martin, and Pendleton decided that the best way to thank their masked murder assistant was with poison, betrayal, and a complimentary trip to the Flooded District. Samuel remains the only man with rights, because he's the reason I'm not even more emotionally unwell right now. Thanks for watching and for waiting silently while you knew the great betrayal was inbound. How the turn tables 💛
