On the bench today is a Siku 1:55 scale Porsche 911 turbo cabrio. Although it’s not indicated on the car, or the Siku fandom page, I want to say about 1974 which would make it a 930.
The 930 Turbo occupies a very special place in the history of Porsche, being their very first turbo charged production car. It was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1974. Derived from the Carrera RS 3.0, the turbo engine with its 3-liter displacement, produced 260 bhp. The 930 Turbo, apart from the cost, was not a car for everyone - developing a reputation of being rather temperamental, and hard to handle, but also incredibly fun. It remained the dream car of many enthusiasts for the rest of the 79s and 80s. In 1987 the car was equipped with the Targa and Cabriolet bodies. The 930 remained in production until the end of 1988. Turbo enthusiasts had to wait until March 1990 for the presentation of the supercharged 964 model.
The 930 Turbo also had a storied racing career, both in rallies and on the track. It was a regular Porsche entry in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with private teams in the 70s and in the 80s, when the car was homologated in group B.

FYI: All of the Maple Leaf Customs finished projects that are kid-friendly are put in custom blister packs and go to my local Goodwill store where they are given to children for free. If there are parts that can be swallowed, those cars are given as gifts to adult collectors that are fellow enthusiasts.
