Amanda, Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate student, utilizes canonical correlation analysis to take image data from satellite instruments. In working with CIRA, the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere, Amanda has had the opportunity to interact with other disciplines, gaining atmospheric science knowledge along the way, and now has a multidisciplinary advantage when she enters the workplace.
