[Synopsis]
In this video, I play Sid Meier's Civilization VII. There are some differences between this game and the previous game. In this game, you cannot build a city anywhere, which makes it more challenging. You also have to upgrade your town into a city which costs coin, and this is a new feature.
There are other differences, you play by age, and there are three ages. The first is antiquity, the 2nd is exploration age, and modern age. When you reach a new age, your cities turn back into towns. Towns can't produce anything, so you have to manage your money wisely. There are no barbarians in this game, you have hostile city states, and you cannot take them over with military force. You can befriend hostile civilizations with your influence points, and this takes time. The only way you can take over city states is by using your influence points to incorporate them.
The military units are a bit lacking. You don't have jet fighters, stealth fighters, missile cruisers, SAMs, modern armor, and cruise missiles. As for air units, you have WW2 piston engine fighters, and bombers. In the other Civilization games, the settlers or workers would improve the surrounding areas of your city. In this game, you have to buy the improvements, or produce them from the city.
Overall, the game was less fun compared to Sid Meier's Civilization VI (2016).
