SIBO or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth is a condition we commonly see here at the Byron Herbalist clinic and there is a connection that I see between SIBO and the pancreas. Low enzyme production from the pancreas can be triggered by SIBO, leading to more compromised digestion and sustaining the bacterial overgrowth that caused the issue in the first place. Talk about a vicious cycle!
