From what I have seen of Walter's levels, they always choose a very dynamic approach to their levels to varying amounts of success. Delusion follows similarly to this trend. This level is probably one of the more captivating levels I have looked at so far, especially at the drop. The designs at the drop change rapidly and new ideas go by very quickly, keeping the level very interesting throughout. The level doesn't follow a theme as much as it follows a set of colors that vary around the color blue. Keeping the colors similar for the entire level does help give cohesion to a level that has so many design switches. One attribute that I do really like about the level is the cleanliness of the art throughout the level. Despite the level being so active and some art appearing for such a short amount of time, most of the art used is free of any jaggedness and is very smooth. I also appreciate the fluidity of transitions between parts, particularly in the drop. While most of the designs and effects look nice, some of these designs and effects make the gameplay quite hard to read, such as the dash orb at 65% and the ball at 74%. I did sightread these parts the first time I made it there, but had a bit of trouble re-beating the level on recording. This normally wouldn't be an issue, but for a level that the creator requested 5 stars for, I believe attention to this is necessary. Overall, this level is an exciting addition to Waltertheboss' levels and I look forward to seeing more levels from them.

![[Showcase] Eclipse By: Yendis
DISCORD: https://discord.gg/K8CEmAw
The last work I had seen from Yendis was Windblade, a 1.9 styled level. While the level did look nice, I thought that some things could be improved and/or polished. Eclipse is a vast improvement in this regard. When using only 1.9 objects, it can be very difficult to make a level feel dynamic and full like other 2.1 levels, as no options for move triggers or alpha triggers are available. Eclipse addresses these issues by both incorporating excellent pulsework into the level and by utilizing interesting air deco throughout the level. The level also stays exciting by implementing new block designs in each part. One design that I like quite a bit is the use of glow objects to make light beams, such as the one present in the second part of the level. I often see glow designs like these either not fit in or lack in execution, but this is done quite well in Eclipse. One slight issue I have with the level is that it is a bit unbalanced, with the first wave being a bit difficult and some parts of the middle of the level being significantly easier than other parts. However, Yendis has mentioned that they are planning on releasing a balance patch, which is good to hear. Overall, Eclipse by Yendis is an excellent example of how 1.9 levels can still be as dynamic and fascinating as 2.1 levels. However, the inconsistencies in difficulty may hamper enjoyment a bit, but not by much.
