Today I show you a compact 4x4 piston door I designed! It has a pretty standard size of 324 blocks. It's nothing special but I thought I'd show you guys anyways :)

This is one of the nicest doors Ive made in a while. Made together with G4me4u, this door is the fastest it can get in the current versions of the game, closing instantly and opening in just 0.3s. Its also incredibly stable, working in every version of Minecraft since 1.5, and its neither locational nor directional. And at 864 blocks in volume its really quite small!

FIX FOR 1.14:
At 01:33, instead of placing a door, place a normal piston facing up on top of the hopper..
A couple years ago I made a tiny 2 wide hipster wall. It wasnt beaten for a while, but Tsskyx managed it eventually. So a couple months ago, I sat down and shaved an entire layer off of my old design (but it essentially still works the same!).
Not long after, I teamed up with Exorden and Sacred Redstone and we managed to compact it yet again.
The first design is really quick, though its limited to use in 1.13.1 and up when expanded indefinitely. If you dont expand it at all or in a slightly different way though, it can be used in 1.11 and up.
The second design works in 1.11 and up, but is unfortunately much slower.
Ill leave the choice of which one youd like to build up to you :]

Another day, another 4x4 door. Contrary to the last one I showed, this design uses no observers or note blocks, so it works in every version of the game since 1.5! However, that does come with a slight volume penalty, though 336 blocks is still the smallest observerless design out there!
