Show Us Your Brews! features unique coffee shops and local breweries from around the world. We love coffee. We love beer. And we definitely love to travel.
Our sixth episode of Show Us Your Brews! brings us to the land down under. In the summer of 2019, Brandi and I lived on Oahu for 3 months and we decided to hop on a cheap flight for $300 RT to visit Hannah in Australia with our fellow nomad, Chrissy. We had about 6 days to visit as many breweries as possible while road tripping from Sydney to the Gold Coast.

Starting in Sydney, we meet up with a fellow nomad Blake at Sydney Brewery in Surry Hills checking out the Aussie nightlife. We then carry on down to 4 Pines, a really neat spot right next to the famous Manly Beach. We say our farewells to Blake and head North to Hope Estate scoping out the Hunter Valley area - reminds me of the Texas Hill Country!
Byron Bay was our next destination and we visited the beautiful and sunny warehouse style brewery Stone & Wood. We had to check out the sunset on the lighthouse hike at the bay then off to the famous and historic Byron Bay Brewery itself.
Once we made it to the Gold Coast, Black Hops II was our first stop on the GC brewery tour and we had the pleasure of meeting Head Brewer Gaz who showed us behind the scenes. Balter Brewing welcomed us on our way back to the Airbnb and the next day took us to Black Hops Brewing's HeadQuarters.
We finished off the amazing Australian brews cruise with Burleigh Brewing, one of our favorite stops and a 'memorable' night at Lost Palms Brewing gave us a Show Us Your Brews! finale.
