*About Mini LED technology*
Mini LED televisions use thousands of miniature LEDs (typically measuring around 100-300µm in size) to create many independently controlled local dimming zones behind the LCD panel. One of the most important factors influencing a Mini LED TV's picture quality is the number of local dimming zones. In general, increasing the number of local dimming zones allows for more precise control of light, helping improve contrast, HDR brightness and blooming control. However, overall picture quality also depends on factors such as the local dimming algorithm, panel characteristics and image processing.

*Reference test equipment*
- Colorimetry Research CR100 colorimeter profiled to CR250-RH spectroradiometer
- Murideo 8K SEVEN signal generator
- Sony BVM-HX3110 professional mastering monitor

The "Includes Paid Promotion" message in this video refers to the sponsorship by TCL who asked us to review this TV. We accepted the sponsorship only on the condition that we get to maintain 100% editorial independence, which is why this video is exactly like our unbiased technical reviews where we point out the pros and cons of the display being tested, so potential buyers can make an informed decision.

*Correction:* At 9:11 in the video, we mistakenly labelled the picture mode as [Dolby Vision Dark]... the correct name on the TCL X11L is [Dolby Vision Filmmaker Mode]. Apologies for the mistake... old habits die hard.
