Listen, you're NEVER going to get a raised eyebrow from me when a vocalist decides to get more versatile. And really, Ricky and Chase have been singing for a while. We all knew that a cleans-only song was gonna come eventually for Ov Sulfur and now that it's here, I'm all for it. Not only is this new single a nice departure for the band, it's a nice change for me as well! You all know I'm almost always giving vocal tips and tutorials on how to scream, so it was a nice little diversion to talk about a whole side of what the voice is capable of.

This song is full of smart choices. Contrast in Timbre between Chase and Ricky, using the best of a great era of rock music, pairing the thoughtful subject matter with a more ballad-esque composition. It's all here, and it's all very well done.
Is it deathcore? Have they gone too far? Are they getting soft? Who cares. It's great music.
