I’m facing a design decision I never thought about when I bought this house.
I absolutely love my primary retreat. When you walk in there’s my office with all the built-ins, and then my bedroom beyond it feels cozy, elegant, and honestly a little sexy. It truly feels like a retreat.
But there’s one problem… it’s upstairs.
As I think about my next home being my forever home, I wonder if a primary suite on the main floor would make more sense long-term so I can live mostly on one level. I could add on to this house, but that would be a big investment.
So I’m curious… am I overthinking this? Or is a main-floor primary something you would prioritize in your forever home?
