The Jurassic World series, which currently stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, has always struggled with the disconnect between what is the most visually impressive for audiences and what has turned out to be scientifically-accurate. I think this includes some interesting stuff also about how different groups of viewers emotionally react to not just what they see on a movie screen, but also how what they see makes them feel about the creators of the film, and how those can contribute to what people think of the movie. There also seems to be a solution to this problem that works best for most viewers, which we'll also talk about.
