Both Star Wars: Rogue One and Avengers: Infinity War are on the horizon, and both will be put out by studios owned by Disney. And I noticed a few weeks ago that Disney actually paid a tiny bit MORE for Lucasfilm (which owns Star Wars) than they did for Marvel Studios, and Star Wars is outgrossing Marvel too. Now a LOT goes into those prices, but after looking into it more, I have a couple things about the story set-up of each universe that may be part of it.
