[solved] hwo to change order of vide/audio tracks in Shotcut.

The GUI workaround is to use ALT + Arrow Keys and Arrow Keys (switch layers) Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V (Cut and Paste) to navigate quick and move quick. However, for large, complex projects, you can modify the MLT XML file in a text editor and by simply renaming two track names, you can modify the order of the tracks, resulting in flipping of two tracks in their sequence!
