In a previous video, we covered the strange history of medical coils, high-voltage, high-frequency transformers used in electrotherapy - the treatment of various illnesses using electricity. These coils came in all shapes and sizes, but among the smallest was the Pocket Battery No.1, produced by various American companies around the turn of the 20th Century.
