Yet another high surf, exploding wave event at Shore Acres! There is no other area in world that sees this kind of phenomenon. The event happens just 6-10 times a year. Water from exploding waves can reach heights in excess of 300.' Yes, 300!' A fire hose is only capable of shooting water 100.' On this windy, rainy day there were just a handful of folks to witness Mother Nature showing off!
