You got the call. An opportunity to shoot the President / Biggest A-List Celebrity / Grammy Award Winning Musical Artist. There's just one problem: you've only got 60 seconds for the shoot.
What do you do? What's the ideal lighting setup? What are the shots you should focus on? In an ideal scenario what's the one photo you should aim to get and most importantly, how do you take photos that sell.
We sit down with Diana Levine, an editorial photographer who's taken photographs of everyone from Barack Obama, to Alicia Keys, to John Legend and more to find out. We learn about why she only uses one light for most of her lighting setups, and what she focuses on during a shoot.
We then do two shoots to test out our theories, one with one light and another photo shoot with no lights. Which one do you think looks best?
