This is my indoor compound round for the Kaminski Archery Backyard Archery Championships. It’s my first time shooting a full indoor scoring round with a target compound in almost twenty plus years, so this was equal parts learning experience and pressure test.
I shot a pair of 289s for a 578 out of 600. Nothing spectacular, but solid and honestly a lot of fun. The biggest takeaway wasn’t the score, it was what I learned by putting myself under tournament pressure and seeing what held up and what needs work.
The Backyard Archery Championships is a digital mail-in tournament where archers can shoot at home, submit scores, and see how they stack up against others around the world.
