In this video, I review the Elite Archery Flex Recurve, a short ILF riser setup that caught my interest as someone who’s used to longer 25–27” risers. This was my first time using a short riser and also my first experience with an adjustable shelf on a traditional bow.
The Flex set up quickly, felt smoother to draw than I expected, and was genuinely fun to shoot. It’s also Elite Archery’s first entry into the recurve world, which made this a cool opportunity to try something different.

Elite’s Response about the limbs:
Elite said they’ll be bringing this issue up with their limb supplier and keeping an eye out for it moving forward. They also offered to send a replacement set of limbs, but I told them it’s an easy fix on my end.
