Thanks to chum for suggesting to lure the bats in the corner first. What this basically does is give the spawning knives in the corner a chance to move into the photo range while the bat it belonged to already disappeared. The first photo for example gained roughly 8k from this.

Now, in this scene I learned that in StB (at least for this scene), the movement RNG is predetermined. Keep in mind in StB the boss follows you horizontally while in DS they do 2/3s of the time. Basically, when you load a state from a certain point, if you keep luring Remilia horizontally the same way, her vertical movement RNG becomes predetermined. This is how I ended up routing her movement to be ideal for the photo.

The main idea for the photo is to lure bats into the corner for 5.87 seconds, then move into a spot where Remilia will move into the photo frame after 9 movements. Every bat that Remilia spawns stays on screen for 11.98 seconds before disappearing. If I then stay into the photo spot for 11.98 seconds, I can be sure that all the stray bats outside of this photo zone will have disappeared. 9 movements equate to roughly 18 seconds, which lines up well with when I want to take the photo (5.87 + 11.98 = 17.85). This means that I take the photo some time before Remilia's 9th movement ends. Sometimes the RNG combined with her movement forced me to take the photo sooner or later, but in general that's the idea.

All in all this meant I had to route her movement to be in the opposite corner after 9 movements every photo and roughly determine the ideal time to take the photo. That was just preparation. Only after that could I actually continue my TAS-recording and actually execute the route. The bats are also RNG-aimed, in that if you stay in one spot, the bats will reach a standstill from within a certain radius around Aya. These bats during the TAS do become pre-determined, so the weird movements are basically there so I can place the bats in specific spots. This is especially important for the bats in the corner, because I don't want them to fly offscreen.
