In this Shkalacar Digital GPS Speedometer Review, we test this HUD speedometer out, and share our opinion after using it for several months in my son’s vehicle. We originally bought this because the speedometer in his car stopped working, so we wanted a simple temporary solution that didn’t cost much money.
In this review I show:
• How the GPS speedometer works
• What comes in the box
• How to connect it using USB power
• Why it worked in one vehicle but not another
• A long-term update after several months of use
One thing I think is important to know before buying this device is that it will not work in some vehicles that have certain types of windshields that block GPS signals. We discovered that it would not work properly in our Range Rover because of the windshield type, but it has continued working very well in my son’s Honda Civic.
Considering the price, I think it has actually done a pretty good job overall. It’s been several months now and he’s still using the same GPS speedometer daily without issues.
