Minsooky • The History of Beauty | Shironuri Makeup: The Handmaid's Tale @Minsooky | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 1 minute ago
I finally decided to tackle one of my favorite novels to create a shironuri makeup look, called The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. In this video I'm discussing the symbolism in The Handmaid's Tale, how it ties in with religion and gender roles, and how I used those elements to create this shironuri makeup look.
Of course, important caveat: These are my own personal opinions about the book. This has also nothing to do with the Handmaid's Tale TV series, as I've never seen a single episode (I've only read the book).
