Hi everyone! Long time no see. Today's makeup is a shironuri makeup look based on how I feel anxiety affects me...oddly enough. Full deets down below!

For this look I just wanted to sit down and do something completely improvised. I didn't really have anything planned; I hadn't actually played around with makeup for 3 weeks prior to this, so I wanted to practice so to speak ^_^
So I based this off my previous shironuri look, but decided to go further with it by experimenting with new Sugarpill products, using new techniques, and adding something different to the look.
The different part of this shironuri look was drawing inspiration from anxiety. I tried to imagine how anxiety looked like in my head and doodled it onto my face. For most of my life I've dealt with an anxiety disorder, and art was one way I kept it somewhat under control growing up. Through experience I've learned to manage it better now, although it still gets to be pretty bad. Makeup is now my "art form," so I thought I would express myself so to speak.
Art and makeup isn't the only thing I use to control it...of course, there's a lot of stuff I do. But it's one coping mechanism I use. Another thing I use, which I mentioned in the video, is watching ASMR videos. I know some people think ASMR is weird but it really calms me down when I'm on the verge of a panic attack.
That was way too much information for a gat dang makeup look but there you go. I endeavor to express myself more as I continue to create more shironuri makeup looks :3

about the makeup
ive wanted to cosplay as world of warcraft characters for a long time. before i began this youtube channel i played a lot of world of warcraft, both regularly and RP. then i had to buy a new computer and realized WoW wouldnt work on it...so i havent been able to play it in a long time :( really blows.
but i decided to base this look off an RP character i used to play on wyrmrest accord. she was a young blood elf hunter with red hair who was incredibly naive. so i tried to make myself look younger and more innocent so to speak...blood elf women also tend to usually look very feline and attractive, so i also kept that in mind.
id love do more world of warcraft cosplay looks. what do you all think? :3 i think perhaps a night elf look is in order next.

hellllo everyone ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ in todays video, im creating a shironuri makeup look inspired by a BJD faceup (ball jointed doll). this one in particular is based off a doll done by one of my favorite BJD faceup artists, bluoxyde. if you liked this video, make sure to hit that thumbs up button!

for this makeup look, i pretty much just replicated the faceup makeup on this bjd doll here→ http://bluoxyde.deviantart.com/art/Prevail-349956575
the makeup itself has a lot of blush tones and light freckles over the cheeks, nose, and forehead. there is a slight gloss on the lips and the eyebrows are very light and soft.
to recreate it, you need to apply blush and eyeshadow in a very soft, subtle way. this is a bit of a challenge for me since i do not like being subtle with my makeup...if you havent noticed already o_o; i had to modify some things so it could fit my own facial features, however.
for the freckles...finding the right color for the freckles was initially difficult. the best technique for this is finding a cheap eyeshadow that isnt super opaque, otherwise it can look too noticeable on the skin. yes, sometimes it pays to have weaker eyeshadows in your collection. its all about how you use them :)
i used the second lightest shade from the coastal scents revealed smoky palette, which is a light tan shade. i really watered that down with duraline so it has the consistency of a watercolor paint. this is key because when you tap on the freckles when its on your face, it wont cause the underlying makeup to rub off.
