Time to finish this arcade game!
First, you're outside trying to head into the last of Zeed's hideouts. You use the building in the background to keep going against bottomless pits.
Then, you must tread through a bamboo forest, full of a lot annoying flying blue ninjas that may kill you if they fly right into you.
The third act finally has you within the Zeed stronghold, itself, full of the strongest enemies and the last of the missing ninja children.

Then finally, Joe Musashi faces off against the leader of Zeed: The Masked Ninja!
You fight different phases of him. First, he'll hop around shooting lightning from himself.
Then he moves around as a tornado.
Then he tries to leap on you with a lot of clones.
And then as his final move, he'll try to run up to you for a fatal punch. Luckily, if you runs over you, that won't kill, but you should try to hit him AS SOON as he gets close to you.
After more damage from there, he's finally finished. Zeed will be no more!

If the ending is to be believed, this Masked Ninja is named Nakahara. He was the one that Joe Musashi the art of Ninjutsu to begin with, but then craved to bring Japan back to its Feudal Era of Civil Wars where Ninja were most prominent in.
So basically, Joe used what was taught to him by his own "master" to put an end to his crazy scheme.

Thanks for watching! There wasn't too much to be felt from this game, but now I can see how all of its followups were influenced by it, from the Arcade/Genesis-ported Shadow Dancer to the Genesis-only The Revenge of Shinobi.
