Shining The Holy Ark was coincidentally on my list of games to play before I started wanting to do every canonical Shining Force title. It was recommended to me by my brother back in like 2022 before I realized I needed to play every Shining title.
This game has two low points: The Tower of Illusion and the Final Boss. Both are sloughs that really, really require grinding to even beat. Based on the guide I used online and their character's levels, I was still underleveled for the final boss. Everything else is pretty solid. I highly recommend this game, and it's one of the last true Sega Saturn exclusives.
This was recorded from #November 28th #2024 to #February 10th #2025. This part was specifically finalized on February 9th 2025. It only took so long because I needed a Shining Force break. My unedited footage here!:
