Sonic Adventure is the well known leap into 3D for Sonic. For many, it's tumultuous. For me, it's fine. Due to localization issues with the interpretation of Sonic at the time in the west, I wish I could play this game entirely in Japanese, but alas I either can't or am unaware of how to.
Released in 1998 for the Dreamcast in Japan, later in September of 1999 in NA and October for Europe. Later on for Gamecube in June 2003, this time everywhere including Australia. Later on for Windows in 2003-2004 for Japan, Europe and then North America. Finally, it came to Xbox 360 and PS3 in September 2010. The DX ports are considered much worse than the originals.
