Full Motion Video games are certainly an acquired taste, and they're definitely not for everyone, especially when the game in question is over thirty years old, and utilized a video quality level that could be called, "dirty postage stamp".
However, if you can put aside the idea that full motion video can be displayed in less than 4K resolution, some of these games are actually worth looking into. Previously, I found Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective Volume 1 to be one of those games, as it was a unique approach into the point and click genre, with interesting mysteries to solve.
This week, we look at the sequel to that game, Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective Volume II, to see how much, if anything, has changed since the appearance of the first volume. Is this a case of "too little, too late", or "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Take a look to find out!
