This is an unused version of the music playing during the final cutscene. It is streaming audio instead of the sample based tune that the game actually uses. It is only 22 kHz so it sounds a bit scratchy. ......
Note that the melody is more in line with how it sounds in Shenmue I & II versus the Dreamcast original. The difference in I & II was carried over from the Xbox port, where some discs, and bizarrly only SOME, already used an "old" version of the music.
!! Work to bring the correct DC music into I & II is already going on !!
Found this in the Dreamcast's BGM04.AFS file while looking for something else. It is named bigrelief.str there, wich sort of gives this piece an official name.
