I purchased some spectacular glass from Mad River Glass Gallery in Waitsfield, Vermont (madriverglassgallery.com/) and wanted a way to display the glass unconventionally. We came up with a series of walnut shelves with live edges, mounted on a sheet of plywood so that we could wire the lighting system in channels on the back of the plywood. The shelves were stabilized using Cactus Juice to prevent the live edges from separating from the interior wood. I intend to write a complete article about the project at some point.
