Sheldon Simeon, former Executive Chef at Star Noodle and contestant on seasons 10 and 14 of Bravo's Top Chef TV series, recently opened this fast casual Hawaiian plate lunch eatery in Kahului in Central Maui (near the airport). We did a take out to try his fabulous cuisine which takes the comfort foods of Hawaii to a playful yet gourmet level. Down the street was another local favorite, Maui Specialty Chocolates, and I picked up a pack of their famous mochi chocolates for dessert!
