Today I'm out in the Alberta wilderness with my son and our dog. We are hiking miles through deep snow in search of deer and moose antler sheds. With tough conditions, limited tracks and no guarantees, we had no idea what we were going to find out there.
Along the way, we're covering ground, checking likely bedding areas and keeping an eye out for rabbits and snowshoe hare. If we find the right spot, we may even set up a trail camera for future trips.
Some days in the bush you come home empty handed and some days turn into something special.
