I responded to Court Liquors for a reported shoplifting of two bottles of Don Julio Reposado Tequila. Upon arrival, I reviewed surveillance footage with the manager, which clearly showed a female in a white winter hat and black jacket taking the bottles and exiting. Other officers located a female matching the description nearby. When I arrived at the detention scene, the suspect denied taking any items, claiming she had put the bottles back. However, the evidence was undeniable. Once placed under arrest, she attempted to negotiate by offering to pay for the stolen merchandise. She was transported to headquarters, where we discovered she had several non-extraditable warrants for shoplifting in multiple other states. She was processed and released on a summons.
