Rhonda Patrick says people with a high Omega-3 Index had a 90% lower risk of sudden cardiac death.

She says they had five extra years of life.

And she shows data suggesting that having low omega-3 can be comparable to smoking.

Those are extraordinary claims.

But there’s a problem.

They’re based on observational evidence.

And to her credit, Patrick acknowledges that herself.

Then she recommends raising your Omega-3 Index anyway.

So I went looking at the evidence she said she didn’t have time to cover:

the randomized controlled trials.

That’s where this gets interesting.
