Shawn Bolz, Benny Hinn, Todd White Points to the Disaster of the NAR or New Apostolic Reformation. The New Apostolic Reformation also known as the NAR, is the idea that the offices of apostles and prophets have been restored to the end times church so that they can govern the churches through supernatural revelation. The recent exposures of Todd White and Shawn Bolz show the New Apostolic Reformation, is shown as a prime example of the movement's deep-rooted issues: fake supernatural claims, lack of accountability, covering for sin, and turning ministry into personal gain. The NAR has become a "New Apostolic Nightmare" or "Disaster." We've idolized signs, wonders, and revival at the expense of integrity, sound doctrine, and healthy leadership. God is calling for reformation—or removal of lampstands (Revelation 2-3). People like Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland should be driven out of the church. Paula White should not be leading the church is any capacity. It's time to leave the NAR behind and move to Word and Spirit (or Word and Power): solid biblical teaching, character over gifting, discipleship over crowds, fruits of the Spirit, love for God and people first. Think John Wimber-style faith without the flakiness—common-sense leadership, no weird extremes. I used to embrace this movement (45+ years in), but God made the corruption too painful to ignore. THE NAR IS NOT THE WAY FOWARD
