Here's the late Australian/Irish actor,Director,and Folklorist Peter O'shaughnessy OAM Reciting his lighthearted Essay "Shakespeare &The Irishman,The scotsman,& The Welshman" and his Stereotypes.
I briefly got to know Peter O'shaughnessy last May of 2013 having known of him because of his several records of Australian poetry I have in my collection I was amazed to find his contact details on his webpages. We had several chats and Peter was very keen for me to put my animation technique to bringing his sound recordings to life.He sent me a memory stick full of sound recordings by him and several photos. He also recorded a few poems for me as per my request. Peter was 89 and although in failing health was full of enthusiasm and new ideas,alas he suddenly passed away on the 17th July 2013 so I never had time really get to know him,but through reading his web page and the many articles about him around the internet I know that he was a highly acclaimed actor/Manager who had been damaged by lifes experiences and his own tendency to obsess about Criticism of his efforts,but to me he was somebody of greatness who I shall always remember speaking to,with fondness.
