I LOVE THIS SKIRT. It's comfy yet chic. You can make it any length, any size. The paper bag waistband gives it pop of style. And it HAS POCKETS! Yesssss. A skirt or dress should always have pockets. Come make one with me. We'll go through ALL THE STEPS together.
DIMENSIONS USED FOR THIS SKIRT (waist size - 28 inches)
WAISTBAND: Cut (2) 28" x 6.5 "
SKIRT: Cut (2) 35" x 26" pieces, then angle/taper the top to 28" (see 2:40 in video)
ELASTIC: Cut (2) 27" strips of 3/4" wide elastic
POCKETS: Cut (4) pockets (use a pattern piece or easily make your own - see 7:02 in video)

SUPPLIES NEEDED for ONE SKIRT:
• About 2 yards of Linen Fabric (or linen-like, or other fabric)
Purchase linens in online shops or at Joann, Hobby Lobby, etc.
• About 2 yards of 3/4" wide knit Elastic (see link above)
The length you need is 2 times your waist size, since we will string elastic through 2 casings.
