A video of the Severn Valley Railway’s ‘Branch Line Day’ on 4th March 2001. The event took place during the UK’s Foot & Mouth Cow Disease outbreak and visitors were requested to attend only at railway stations and not to access fields to gain lineside locations. As a result this video was only filmed at Hampton Loade, Bewdley, Arley and Highley stations as well as from a footpath in the outskirts of Bewdley. The autotrain only ran between Hampton Loade and Highley stations. Because of the restrictions, attendance at the event was low but it had the added bonus of making filming a lot easier!
