Skater found this trick, this is just a setup. The turn up-right is very lenient, the angle spans from almost straight up to almost straight right. For the dive just walk backwards towards the edge and press B then let go of down shortly afterwards. Then press A after Shiek lands to void and skip the cutscene. If you press A too early he will warp back onto the bridge during the cutscene. If he grabs the ledge and doesnt enter the cutscene, your angle was probably too far left. This cutscene skip is about the same speed as the other one, but it saves time since it does not need 1/2 a heart.
