We got black australorp chicks and set up their brooder area. NEVER set a chick area up indoors! We had our brooder catch fire last year from a heat lamp. Luckily the entire set up was outside and away from the house. We switched to the heat plate and still keep everything outdoors. A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar adds healthy bacteria for the chicks to consume. These large boxes are easy to take apart and store when not in use. #selfsufficiency #chicks
