From Season 19 (1987-1988), street scenes and closing credits from Episodes #2404 and #2405, whereby Maria (Sonia Manzano) and Luis (Emilio Delgado) fall in love *sniff!*. With help from Big Bird (Caroll Spinney) and Snuffy (Martin P. Robinson), an interview with Telly (Marty again), and a poem from The Count (Jerry Nelson).
A bit longer than need be, but I didn't want to lose the build-up with Big Bird and Snuffy nor the closing credits, I know folks enjoy those.
These originally aired January 21-22, 1988. As Big Bird predicted, they got married (on the roof!) barely five months later on the season finale (May 13, 1988), lol! Things move fast on The Street.
I don't speak Spanish, so the poem Maria reads to Luis is lost to me. If you recognize it, let me know. Otherwise, The Count reads Elizabeth Barrett Browning's famous poem, "Sonnet 43" ("How do I love thee? Let me count the ways ..."), a truly perfect choice for him. Linked below.
UPDATE: +Alexandra Dionisi, a self-admitted student and not an authority, has translated the "poem". It's actually the end of a letter from either Maria or Luis' mother! "With a big hug, much love and many kisses from your mother who loves you". Awwww.

FYI: In real life, whatever that is, Maria (Sonia Manzano) and Luis (Emilio Delgado) are not married to each other. Emilio has been married to his wife, Carole, since 1990. Sonia has been married to Richard Reagan since 1986. Their real-life daughter, Gabriela Rose Reagan, played Maria and Luis' little girl, Gabi, in Season 21 and Season 22. The real Gabriela is now a fashion designer.
