UPDATE: On March 10, 2022, beloved actor Emilio Delgado (Luis) passed away at 81 after battling blood cancer for two years. His loss weighs heavily on my soul. Emilio was the only cast member to reach out to me on social media (as he did with many fans) and he even shared my videos, which all made me giddy with fan-girl glee. I know many of you have chosen this terrific video to express your feelings at this time, but that attracted YouTube's censors and they've changed the rating to "for kids only" which has resulted in the comments being turned off. I am so sorry to shut you down, it's beyond my control. PLEASE check out some of his other fun videos where you can leave comments (for now!). And may his memory always be a blessing for the kid in all of us. Thank you for everything, Emilio.

From 1987, "Baa Baa Bamba", written by Joe Raposo and Luis Santeiro, an animal sounds parody of Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba", performed by Luis (Emilio Delgado) in the arbor. His backup animals include some sheep (Martin P. Robinson and Camille Bonora), Gladys the Cow (Richard Hunt), a Duck (David Rudman), and Chip Cat (Kevin Clash). The only full version I could find in my videos, this came from Episode 2500 and first appeared in Ep 2360. Not as clear as I'd like, but I thought it was nicer than the other version online. Posted to celebrate Emilio's 80th birthday today. I think this is one of the best songs Sesame Street ever produced, enjoy!
