Paultons Park have revealed Serpent’s Curse, the UK’s first ever water coaster and one of the park’s biggest attractions to date. Announced during the Paultons Park Super Fans Event, this huge new MACK Rides water coaster will expand Valgard: Realm of the Vikings in 2027 with a thrilling Viking sea adventure featuring powerful launches, sweeping curves, dramatic twists and a giant splashdown.

Serpent’s Curse will become a major new headline attraction for Paultons Park when it opens in 2027 as part of a significant Valgard: Realm of the Vikings expansion. This custom-built MACK Rides water coaster is set to be one of the largest rides ever constructed at Paultons Park and marks another major milestone in the park’s continued transformation.

As the UK’s first water coaster, Serpent’s Curse combines traditional water ride elements with roller coaster thrills, creating a powerful new attraction for families, older children and thrill seekers. Riders will face Viking waters, twisting track sections, sweeping turns, major drops and a huge splash finale as they battle the mythical seas of Valgard.

The attraction will be located within Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, expanding the already ambitious Viking land which opened in 2026. Valgard currently features Drakon, Paultons Park’s first ever inverting roller coaster, Raven, the rethemed former Cobra coaster, Vild Swing, the UK’s first ART Engineering Wild Swing, The Orchard Playground and the Nordic Feasting Hall.

Serpent’s Curse represents the next major phase of Valgard’s development and further strengthens Paultons Park’s investment in large-scale themed attractions.

Alongside Serpent’s Curse, Paultons Park also announced that Seal Falls, the park’s long-standing junior log flume, will be relocated and rethemed within the Valgard expansion as Little Serpents, bringing another family water attraction into the Viking realm.

Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, has grown into one of the UK’s leading family theme parks. Known for Peppa Pig World, Lost Kingdom, Tornado Springs, Ghostly Manor and Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, the park continues to rapidly expand with world-class attractions, immersive theming and major new developments.

With Serpent’s Curse, the first on-site hotel and lodges, and continued future expansion, Paultons Park is positioning itself as one of the UK’s most ambitious family theme park destinations.
