A lively young woman with a life threatening illness visits Sequoia National Park with a plan to take matters into her own hands.

Riley (Aly Michalka), a witty young woman who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, departs to Sequoia National Park. With her camera in tow, she decides to film the last days of her life as a farewell note to her estranged and dysfunctional family, including her aggrieved mother Bev (Joey Lauren Adams) and her deadbeat father Oscar (Todd Lowe). Along the way, Riley meets Ogden (Dustin Milligan), an introspective musician.

When Ogden discovers Riley’s plan, he makes it his goal to change her mind. As their new friendship deepens, an unlikely dedication to each other proves that while life isn't perfect, love can still be extraordinary.
