Location: McKinney Avenue, Midway, Woodford County, KY
Second siren of the day from Wednesday, and second loudest. This somewhat new-ish but aging 10V is located along McKinney Avenue in an undeveloped industrial park in Midway Kentucky. This siren is sandwiched between that road and I-64, so you can hear some traffic noise. Today was Woodford County's long test month, though I thought it odd that they seemed to activate this siren twice to achieve the full three minutes. Midway also has an STH-10 downtown and a Model 2 at Midway College. Enjoy!
